Advertisements are billed by the column inch, but The Campus offers discounts for common ad sizes and bulk purchasing.National rates
National ads are billed at $9.50 per column inch. Common ad sizes and rates are:- Full page (126 ci): $1110
- 1/2 page (63 ci): $575
- 1/3 page (42 ci): $380
- 1/4 page (31.5 ci): $280
- 1/8 page (15.75 ci): $145
Local rates
Local ads are billed at $5.00 per column inch. Common ad sizes and rates are:- Full page (126 ci): $600
- 1/2 page (63 ci): $300
- 1/3 page (42 ci): $200
- 1/4 page (31.5 ci): $150
- 1/8 page (15.75 ci): $75
Discounts and add-ons
Color
Make your ad pop! Color ads are available in all issues for an extra 40 percent.Back page
Ads on the back page of the A section are available on Mondays only for an extra 20 percent. The extra cost does not include color.Inserts
Inserts are available for $100 per thousand for local advertisers and $175 per thousand for national advertisers. You may purchase a minumum of 1,000 inserts and a maximum of 4,500 inserts. The advertiser is responsible for sending the inserts to our printer. Deadline: 10 days prior to publication.Pre-paid ads
A 10 percent discount will be given on all pre-paid advertisements. The pre-paid discount will be given after all other discounts have been calculated.Bulk purchasing
A 1 percent discount will be given for every 300 column inches purchased per semester.Student groups
